I was in my yoga class sitting on my mat when I started to cry. It was embarrassing and I didn’t understand why this kept happening. No matter what I did, the tears just streamed down my face. If it happened once I would have shrugged it off and thought nothing of it. But it happened every single time I went to class.

Looking back on it now I can see exactly what is was. Yoga and sleep were the only times I slowed down because, I didn’t want anyone to see what a hard time I was having. I was ‘keeping up appearances’, and pushing forward. But really, I felt embarrassed and ashamed of my emotions.

You see, I was feeling incredibly stuck and I wasn’t even sure why.

I had been working at the same job for more than 6 years, and had been moving quickly up the corporate ladder. On the surface, everything was fine. My family life was wonderful; finances were going great and I had good health. Things seemed like they couldn’t get better.

But on the inside, I felt incredibly lost and stuck. Plus, I was exhausted and life felt flat and boring.

Inside, I didn’t feel fulfilled and I sure wasn’t happy. I felt like I was meant to be doing more with my life. But I had no idea what that meant and I felt guilty for not being satisfied.

Have you ever had that feeling of being stuck and overwhelmed, where you’re not entirely sure how to go about changing things, or even what you want to be different?

If you’re experiencing that right now, you know what feeling stuck is like. For me, it was a feeling that would wake me up in the middle of the night and it just wouldn’t go away. It was a feeling that, when I was alone, my stomach would twist in knots as it would creep back up to the surface. So, I kept pushing forward, doing more and staying busy, because I didn’t know what else to do.

A lot of things can bring about this feeling of being stuck..…

Maybe you want to make a change but you end up procrastinating. You say “I’ll start tomorrow”. Then, when tomorrow comes you realize you don’t know where to start.  Or maybe you feel stuck because no matter what you try, you seem to always fail or quit. Maybe you want an awe-inspiring goal and you’re embarrassed to admit you don’t know what you want.

Maybe you don’t even know why you feel stuck, but you just know something NEEDS to change, but you’re not sure what or how.

At times like these, it can feel like you are pushing against a locked door and saying “Why is this so hard? Why can’t I make things different? Why can’t I figure this out?”

It’s very common to feel that you want to make a change, but you don’t know where to start or what you want to change. Or if you do try to change, you don’t make any progress and you just keep going in circles. 

The frustrating part of feeling stuck is the pattern that repeats itself over and over. The one where you dig deeper and deeper into a hole, mired in the mud of confusion and self criticism.


There’s a sneaky pattern that often shows up, that keeps people stuck. It’s the feeling of spinning your wheels, stuck in the mud of confusion and self blame.

It’s completely normal to worry about your current situation and then to create more pressure through self blame when you don’t make progress. We all criticize ourselves when we don’t exercise enough or when we haven’t started our dream business, or when we miss out on quality time with our family.

Sometimother-937038_1920mes you don’t know what to do next. So you look around to see what other people are doing. You think “Hey! they look happy” and since you don’t know what else to do, you decide since they look happy, it will make me happy too. Many times, we jump into action to relieve the stress of feeling like a failure.

After a while, you may find you’re not enjoying this ‘new thing’. Then you notice the momentum is difficult to maintain. Eventually, you get worn down and start to slip in your resolve. So, you ease up a little and start to make excuses. Before long, you revert to your old habits. You drop the diet, or stop working on our dream business or career.

And the pattern begins again as the pressure and confusion about your situation once again builds… But here’s the thing, looking outward for clues to happiness and comparing yourself with others is a recipe for disaster.

I’ve worked with hundreds of people who have told me they’ve experienced this cycle in their own lives. They used to feel they couldn’t create the life they wanted, and were always beating themselves up for where they thought they had messed up.

Week 1: Get Past Overwhelm
Many times, when you are stuck in a rut, you rush around endlessly in circles.  You struggle with the daily balance of work and family, health and finances and so much more. At the end of the day, you feel completely overwhelmed and fall into bed night after night, hoping things will be better tomorrow.

This week we’ll press the pause button, so you can take time to catch your breath, figure out where you are and where you want to go.

  • Start looking forward to what you want and set fresh intentions.

Week 3: Meet Your Inner Voice of Hope & Wisdom
This week you will create an environment that supports your well-being, growth and dreams.You’ll meet your inner voice of wisdom and create an inner environment that allows you to grow. A butterfly can’t transform without a cocoon, a tree can’t grow without sunlight, water and soil and YOU can’t thrive when your environment doesn’t support you.

Some of what we’ll cover this week includes:

  • Meet your Inner Mentor and incorporate this wise voice as a guidepost in your life.
  • How to create a personalized daily ritual that supports your health and transformation.
  • How to overcome the resistance of letting things go that are no longer serving you.

Week 4: Claim What You Want& Go For It
Have you tried goal setting and felt disappointed? Are you tired of setting goals that don’t excite you, just because you think you “should”?Most people have. The average goal setting exercise simply creates pressure and eventually panic as you struggle to meet your goals.

This week you’ll learn a unique process to get clear about what you truly want and harness your power to create it. This fresh approach to setting goals is one you can use with every goal you ever set going forward.

Here’s some of what you will learn this week:

  • How to build a better relationship with yourself and others
  • Finally uncover what really matters to you and why some goals never seem to stick.
  • How to set and achieve goals without destroying your work-life balance

Week 5: Your Confidence Toolkit
Many people associate being confident with an outward, showy personality. But confidence isn’t about what you look like on the outside, it’s about what you feel on the inside. Some people are outwardly confident, and some are quietly confident and the best way is the one that’s right for you!

This week you’ll develop your personal confidence formula. We’ll supercharge your confidence by developing:

  • How to get clear on and release the negative emotions, past experiences, and limiting beliefs that keep you from feeling confident.
  • How to recognize and build upon your natural strengths
  • How to discover your personal confidence formula and how to best develop it!
  • Learn the best tools for your Confidence Toolkit
Week 6: Ending Procrastination
Nothing can be more frustrating than knowing what you want to do, but finding yourself constantly procrastinating. Most people turn to beating themselves up but never take the time to learn why they are procrastinating:

During this week you’ll discover:

  • How to decode the secret messages procrastination is sending you and how to move in the direction of what you want.
  • How to discover the root behind your procrastination, and take action in a way that feels natural!
  • How to uncover and release the doubts, fears, and beliefs that lead you to sabotage your own success.
Week 7: Consistency and Integration
Real growth is about consistency. It’s not about how far you leap in a single day but rather about how consistent you are in moving forward every day. Celebrate yourself and how far you’ve come! During our final week together you’ll work to develop your keys to consistency.

You’ll look forward as together we work on:

  • How to keep your flow for the long haul.
  • How to plan for the inevitable times when you get knocked off track. You’ll develop strategies that will guide you back to feeling calm, centered, confident and able to move forward.
  • How to address and clear the two consistency saboteurs, perfectionism and impatience.
  • The importance of people: staying consistent with your support structure!
